| Refashioned: From Waste to Wear
Science Museum, London
15th February 2007
The TED Project took part in ‘Refashioned: From Waste to
Wear’ at the Science Museum, during London Fashion Week last
month.
There was a catwalk show of designers who use recycled materials
including Rebecca Earley’s Top 100 shirts and a series of
workshops, which hoped to lift the lid on how to turn reused materials
into modern, cutting-edge clothes and accessories.
The TED Project presented the ‘Ever & Again’ recycling
project in the form of an interactive game, where participants were
asked to workshop possible design solutions incorporating several
of the design concepts: short life/long life, new technologies,
systems and services and ethical production.
