Linda Sandino

Dr Linda Sandino is Senior Research Fellow of the CCW Graduate School and the V&A where she is developing an oral history of curating.

She is the founder of Voices in the Visual Arts [VIVA] archive. Her research explores the construction and meanings of life histories in the arts.  Recent publications include: 'Artists-in –progress: Narrative identity of the Self as Another' in M. Hyväarinen (ed), Beyond Narrative Coherence, Amsterdam: John Benjamins (2010); 'News from the Past: Oral History at the V&A', V&A Online Journal 1/2 (2009); and contributions to Taking Time: Craft & the Slow Revolution, curated by Helen Carnac, (2009-10). Currently she is external examiner at Edinburgh School of Art.  

Linda is currently working to develop a TFRC-wide research project with TED.
